A Radio Frequency Identification Lable (RFID lable) is an electronic lable that exchanges data with a RFID reader through radio waves.
Most RFID lable are made up of at least two main parts. The first is an an antenna, which receives radio frequency (RF) waves. The second is an integrated circuit (IC), which is used for processing and storing data, as well as modulating and demodulating the radio waves received/sent by the antenna.
The passenger stub is typically handed to the passenger or attached to the ticket envelope:
a) To help the passenger in identifying their bag among similar bags at the destination baggage carousel;
b) As proof-still requested at a few airports-that the passenger is not removing someone else's bag from the baggage reclaim hall;
